Misneach: Mindfulness and Meditation.

What You Will Actually Learn

Six live, 120-minute* sessions, building in order, each one assumes what came before it, so the group grows together rather than restarting each week.

1. Arriving Foundations: what mindfulness and meditation actually are, and how they differ, the ground rules for a safe and honest room, and a genuinely fascinating look at where the mind is said to "live". You'll also get your first taste of practice: a short, guided breathing exercise and a brief seated meditation, so you're not just hearing about the difference, you're feeling it.

2. Mindfulness I: Present-Moment Awareness Moving from theory into practice: the breath as an anchor, noticing autopilot, and bringing attention into ordinary daily life.

3. Mindfulness II: Working with Thoughts & Emotions The real substance of the course: understanding thoughts as mental events rather than facts, working skilfully with difficult emotions, and building genuine self-compassion.

4. Mindful Communication & Daily Life Taking everything built so far into conversations and everyday choices, including a live mindful-listening practice with a partner.

5. Meditation: Building a Formal Practice Sampling real techniques, focused attention, loving-kindness, open monitoring, and building a sustainable personal routine.

6. Practice A longer, more spacious closing session: sustained sitting, reflecting on the full journey, and a concrete plan for keeping the practice alive afterward.

*Each session is intended to run for 90 minutes, with an optional 30 minutes afterward for group Q&A. Stay if it's useful to you, or go once the core session ends, either way, block the full 120 so you're not caught out.

What’s included

  • Six live 90-minute group sessions, capped at 12 people, so nothing gets lost in a crowd

  • A private 30-minute 1:1 session with me, at a time that suits you

  • Practice guides between sessions to keep the habit alive during the week

    Who This Is For

  • You don't need any prior experience, and you don't need to already be "good" at sitting still, this programme is built to take you from wherever you're starting.

    A Note From Me

  • This programme brings together everything I've learned since I started my own practice years ago, refined through a decade of continued practice and deepened by a month of monastic training in Thailand in July 2026.

    Common Questions

  • Do I need to be religious, or spiritual, to do this?
No. The roots of these practices are contemplative, but what's taught here is secular and evidence-based.

  • What if I have to miss a session?
Life happens, if you miss one, I'll send you a short written summary and the practice recording, so you're not left behind for the following week.

  • Do I need to be able to "clear my mind"?
No, and that's actually a myth we bust directly in Session 1. Thoughts don't stop; the practice is noticing them without judgment.

What you'll actually get out of this

  • A calmer, steadier mind. Consistent practice has been shown to produce real, physical changes in brain regions tied to memory, self-awareness, and stress response.

  • Less anxious, less reactive, day to day. Regular practice is linked to genuine reductions in everyday stress and anxiety, not just a nice feeling in the room that fades by Monday.

  • Better relationships. Even if you're the only one practicing, research shows a personal mindfulness practice measurably improves relationship satisfaction, even when only one partner is doing the work.

  • A skill you keep, not a course you finish. Six sessions building a practice that holds up, long after the programme ends.

    Investment

  • AED 2,500
Includes all six live sessions, your private 1:1, and practice guides throughout.
